| Cut the quadrant to length, mitring the corners, and either pin or glue it to the existing skirting or wall. Don't forget to leave the 10mm expansion/contraction gap between the edge of the floor and the existing skirting or wall. Do NOT pin or glue the quadrant to your floor - your floor must be allowed to move freely underneath the beading. Gluing is best so use an adhesive with good grab strength. Where the length of the beading required exceeds the length of the beading section (i.e. 2700mm), either butt the two lengths tight up to one another or cut one length at 45º and the other at 135º and then glue the angles together to form a flush joint. |
