| Loose lay the foamboard panels, making sure that they butt up tight to each other, until they cover the whole room and then lay your new floor on top. Remember to use a vapour barrier on a concrete sub-floor. |
A rigid, dense fibreboard underlay, made from natural fibres and ideal for all laminate floors and Basix engineered floors!
This 5mm rigid fibreboard underlay is loose-laid on all sub-floors with the boards butting up tight to each other. It levels out unevenness in subfloors, reduces footfall noise and limits heat loss. Just lay the rectangular boards across the room making sure there are no gaps between them, and then lay your new floor on top.
